What is GYMZEN?

It is a complete gymnastics of the whole body (literally from the head to the feet) which is carried out in a dynamic, fast or slow way. It involves every part of the body and works in synergy. The exercises focus on coordination, segmental dissociation, ambidexterity, laterality, balance, symmetry, flexibility, muscle tone, joint amplitude, relaxation and stress relief.

GymZen is for everyone from 7 to 107 years old: I offer several disciplines in a single class where joint, muscle and respiratory relaxation are strongly felt. Other benefits are also to be reported, such as the centering and a better representation of its body diagram

TOMASZ the Blessed, founder

Tomasz Wojcik, born in the Polish countryside, raised by two deaf and dumb parents, came to France in 1991. Tomasz is self-taught in many areas. He is notably endowed with a sense of observation that has enabled him to better analyze movement.

He is a sports educator with a BPJEPS (Brevet Professionnel de la Jeunesse, de l’Éducation Populaire et du Sport) mention Physical Activities for All, passionate about different forms of body expression. He was inspired by different transversal movements, for a better body expression. Three years were necessary, 2009 to 2012, to set up the activity as it is proposed today.

Expired… INSPIRATION

Passionate about movement and body expression, inspiration from the different fundamentals of disciplines such as : Tae-kwon-do (footwork), Tai chi chuan (fluidity of gesture), Qi gong (breathing work), Pilates (proprioception, listening to internal sensations “kinesthesia”), Feldenkrais method (acting differently, becoming aware of one’s movements and state of mind), EAD (Dynamic Articular Stacking – alignment of segments), Yoga (balance in movement), Sophrology (visualization and channeling of the general state of the body and guided relaxation), Shiatsu (stretching of the body lines “meridians”), Brain gym (gymnastics of the brain, coordination, segmental dissociation), Indian gymnastics (work of the articular amplitude), and finally Western soft gymnastics.

The Tea Fool !

It is a passion above all, the art of serving, of mastering, and always learning different ways of preparing tea. Between Movement and Silence, between East and West, between Life and Death, there is a bridge, a border, a space, the Fool is the guide. I will gladly share with you my journey, my knowledge and my experiences. And every day is a new and good day, and I continue to learn. All of this will appear in a book currently being written entitled “Anatomy of the Spirit of Tea”. At the same time, I am passionate about the art of tea (for 25 years) and I practice – among other things – the ceremonial gongfu cha, a traditional Chinese method of tea preparation. This is a moment of transition that fits perfectly into the continuity of the GymZen session and allows for exchanges in a friendly atmosphere. Discover the Tea Workshop…
